Zion Narrows is one of the best-known and majestic hikes leading
into Zion National Park, Utah. The hike follows the headwaters of the
Virgin River through a 16 mile water-sculptured
gorge with sandstone arches, grottos and towering walls that rise
as much as 1000 feet and spans a base width of only 20 feet. This picture
shows one of the springs that empties into the river.
